Christopher P. Wirkus

Christopher P. Wirkus, 38, of Bethlehem, passed away April 8, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg.

He was the beloved husband of Susanna S. (Dallis) Wirkus, with whom he celebrated 10 years of marriage.

Born in Port Jefferson, NY, he was the son of Paul W. and Carol A. (Clasen) Wirkus, Morgantown.

Chris was employed by Colline Integrated Security Services as a project manager for over 7 years, which he loved.

He was an avid video gamer. Chris enjoyed working on computers, cars and going camping, but his true love was spending time with his family, especially his daughter.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter, Jadyn L. Wirkus, Bethlehem; brother, Eric R., husband of Megan Wirkus, Spring Grove, and nieces, Mallory N. Wirkus, Ella R. Wirkus and Aubrey G. Wirkus; in-laws, Nicholas, husband of Jane H. Dallis, and brother-in-law, Charles R. Dallis.

Services will be held Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. in St. Benedicts Church, 2020 Chestnut Hill Road

Mohnton, PA 19540 with a viewing one hour prior in the church. Viewing will also be held Wednesday April 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Jadyn's education.
