Christopher R. Shinn

Christopher R. Shinn, 59, passed away on April 21, 2025 in his Spring Twp. residence.

He was the life partner of Karen S. (Yeakel) Mills.

Born in Reading, he was a son of Dennise M. (Shue) Shinn, married to Mary L. Wanner, Reading, and Robert T. Shinn, Jr. married to Carol, Blandon.

Christopher was a graduate of Reading High School in 1983. He was a waste water operator for Maidencreek Township Water Authority for 12 years, last working Monday.

Family was most important to him. He cherished his children: Jared D., married to Kimberly (Collins) Mills, Royersford; Jeremy D. "Bubba", married to Rebecca (Griesemer) Mills, Wyomissing; and Jennifer N. (Mills), married to Gregory Brisbin, Laurel Springs, NJ; his seven grandchildren: Keira, Drew, Carson, Jace, Kayla, Cole, and Braelynn; and his sister Lisa M. Shinn, Reading.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 1:30 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.
