Christopher Michael Kane

Christopher Michael Kane, 64, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Berks Heim. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Gerald Joseph and Carolyn Ann (Dengler) Kane.

Christopher graduated Central Catholic High School in 1977. A man of many talents and interests, Chris was a self-employed electrician, volunteer EMT and an avid concert goer. He was the owner and operator of American Audio in Reading, PA until 2012. Known for his ingenuity and fair pricing, his work was sought after throughout the tri-state area. He had a passion for the outdoors and would frequent local campgrounds such as French Creek with friends and family. With a welcoming smile and gentle disposition, Chris was a friend to all who knew him. He is best remembered for his kindness and sense of humor.

He is survived by two loving daughters; Noelle Savage and Rachael Kane; his seven siblings: Theresa Kane, Michael Kane, Mary Essig, Patrick Kane, Kevin Kane, Rose Cooley and Robert Kane and three grandchildren: James, Finley and Lucy Savage.

A Celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private. For all those able to attend, please come with a smile and story about our dear friend Chris.
