Christopher Wesley Makuch, 24, formerly of Shillington, died February 3, 2012 in his Sturgis, MI residence.
Born January 4, 1988 in Reading, he was a son of Wesley Charles Makuch of Shillington and Grace Emily (Sargent) Bowman of Sturgis, MI.
He was a 2006 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. He attended Penn College of Technology, Williamsport for Information Technology, which was his passion.
Christopher was employed as a networking specialist with Morgan Olson Corporation, Sturgis, MI for the past 2 years, last working Thursday. He was also considered to be a proficient web designer.
He loved animals, especially his dogs; loved music, skateboarding and bicycling; but above all else his passion was computers and programming.
Christopher is also survived by his loving sister, Samantha Ashley Makuch, whom he shared a very special bond with. Sam is a student at Penn State University, State College.
In addition, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Doris M. (Hoffman) Makuch of Wyomissing and his maternal grandfather, Rev. John Sargent of Winter Haven, FL.
Other survivors include a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Christopher was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Wesley Makuch, his maternal grandmother, Norma Sargent and his step-father, David Bowman who died in July.
Services will be held Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
