Christopher George Krause

Christopher George Krause, 34, of Fleetwood, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital where he had been a patient since August 2.

Born in Lansdale, he was the son of Michael and Georgene Gransback Krause of Fleetwood.

He was employed as a security officer by Vanity Fair, last working in July. He previously worked for Brook Ledge in Oley as an over-the-road truck driver for 12 years. He was a 1994 graduate of Oley Valley High School.

Chris was an accomplished musician, excelling in any type of guitar and the drums. He loved Mac computers and could fix anything. Chris loved motorcycles and especially racing at Maple Grove raceway. He was a big-hearted person who would do anything possible to help anyone in need.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother and sister-in law, Rob M. and Jaime Krause of Sinking Spring; a sister and her boyfriend, Tracey J. Krause and Ian Kantner of Fleetwood; a nephew, Layne Krause and a niece, Ella Krause, both of Sinking Spring.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm at Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main St., Oley, on Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Interment will be private. Contributions may be made in Chris's memory to Fleetwood Bank, Attn: Judy Gately, P.O. Box 105, Fleetwood, Pa. 19522
