Christine Rossignoli

Christine (Parenti) Rossignoli, 90, of Reading, died June 14, 2017, in Wyomissing Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Her husband, Alfred N. Rossignoli, died May 18, 2014.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Contino and Maria (Colontonio) Parenti.

She was a 1945 graduate of Reading High School.

Christine was employed by American Casualty as a clerk, retiring in 1953. After retirement, she worked at 13th and Union Elementary School as a lunch aide.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Christine was an avid bingo player and enjoyed Atlantic City and the slot machines.

She loved her family especially her grandchildren.

Christine is survived by two sons, Alfred R. Rossignoli, Shillington and Steven A., husband of Sharon K. Rossignoli, Reading and two grandchildren, Nicholas Rossignoli and Marie Rossignoli.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Dominic Parenti, David Parenti and Valentino Parenti and one sister, Carmella Desisco.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Mausoleum Cemetery with entombment to follow.
