Christine F. Lesher

Christine F. Lesher, 54 of Reading died November 12 in St. Joseph's Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

She was the wife of Douglas H. Lesher.

Born in Reading she was the daughter of Dolores I. (Pawling) Picton and step-daughter of Thomas Picton, Laureldale. She was the daughter of the late James Prodromos.

She is also survived by 2 sons Joshua Border, Fleetwood and Ezra Border, Leesport. There are also 2 daughters Carla Simpson, Asbury Park, NJ and Nichole T. (Simpson) Kreuscher, Boca Raton, FL.

There are also 5 step-sons Douglas E. Lesher, Fleetwood, Dwight D. Lesher, Hamburg, Michael S. Lesher, Shoemakersville, Mark I. Lesher, Hamburg and Bruce A. Lesher, Fleetwood.

Lesher is also survived by one brother Gregory J. Prodromos, Kentucky and one half sister Joyce (Prodromos) Gapinski, West Wyomissing.

There are also 2 grandchildren and 10 step grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a step-daughter Judith A. Lesher.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
