Christine H. Krzyzanowski

Christine "Teeni" H. Krzyzanowski, 84, of Reading, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, at Reading Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. A devoted wife, mother, grammy, great-grammy, and sister, Teeni's life was centered entirely around those she loved.

For 63 wonderful years, she was the beloved wife of Lewis "Lewie" T. Krzyzanowski. The two were married on June 2, 1962, after growing up as next-door neighbors on Cotton Street. Their love story began in childhood and endured a lifetime.

Born in Reading, Teeni was the daughter of the late Stanley and Florence (Golembiewski) Bialek. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1959. For many years, she was employed at Linette Quality Chocolates in Womelsdorf. Teeni and Lewie were longtime parishioners of St. John Baptist de la Salle in Shillington, following the closure of St. Anthony's in Millmont.

Proud of her Polish heritage, Teeni and Lewie could be found every Sunday morning faithfully listening to "Polka Time" on the radio. She cherished summers spent with family in Ocean City, Maryland, and looked forward to casino trips with Lewie.

Teeni was a devoted mother and a proud and loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She treasured her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson beyond measure. For many years, she was also a loyal, dedicated caregiver to her sister, Diane. Her cousins held a special place in her heart, and family gatherings were among her greatest joys.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Lewie; her children, Linda Reifsnyder and her fiancé Vincent Desiderio of Exeter, and Michael Krzyzanowski and his wife Janine of Reading; her grandchildren, Ryan Reifsnyder and his fiancé Mindy Young, Katelyn (Reifsnyder) Mocadlo and her husband Michael, and Jordyn Krzyzanowski; and her great-grandson, Maxwell Mocadlo. She is also survived by her sister, Diane Bialek of Sinking Spring. Teeni shared a special bond with her beloved cat, Buddy, and her great-granddog, Millie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley E. Bialek, husband of Doris.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in Teeni's memory to Prospectus Berco, either online at www.proberco.org/help-donate/ or by mail to 840 William Lane, Reading, PA 19604-1551.
