Cheryl Christina Tobias

Cheryl Christina Tobias, 81, of Blandon, passed away unexpectedly on September 19, 2026. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Rentschler) Dimaio. Cheryl was the loving wife of William John Tobias, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

Cheryl was a 1963 graduate of Wilson High School. She dedicated her career to working for Fromm Electric Supply, where she retired as the Branch Operations Coordinator.

A true cat lover, Cheryl cared for the felines around her property with love and compassion. She found great joy in giving back to her community and was a dedicated organizer of the annual Souper Bowl benefiting Opportunity House. Cheryl will also be fondly remembered as the cheerful Easter Bunny for Second Street Learning Center, a role she looked forward to each year. Her kindness, generosity, and joyful spirit touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her step-son, Eric Tobias (Cindy), of Orwigsburg, and step-grandchildren, Alex and Paige Tobias. She will be missed by her sisters, Lana G. Fick, of Reading, and Robin Flowers (Gene), of Reading. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 2-4pm at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, 5153 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Cheryl's name to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County or to the PSPCA.
