Cheryl R. Biffel-Powell

Cheryl R. Biffel-Powell, 75, passed away on August 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Craig A. Powell, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late William and June (Miller) Biffel. Cheryl graduated from Wilson High School. Her caring nature led her to a career as a medical assistant where she was able to connect with her community. She enjoyed being outdoors in her garden, and the beach, especially the family trips to the Florida Keys and Ocean City, NJ. She took great pride in taking care of her family, and cherished her time with them.

Her kindness, warmth, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

In addition to Craig, Cheryl’s memory will be cherished by her children: Erin Corvaia, and Ryan Corvaia (Maulik Pancholy); her grandchildren, Cyrus and Flora Hicks; her siblings: William Biffel, Jr. (Janelle), Kathy Blankenbiller, Michael Biffel (Marianne); as well as 20 nieces and nephews; and 14 great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 12 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA, 19611. Family and friends may gather beginning at 11 a.m. until the beginning of the service.
