Charlotte E. Hannan

Charlotte E. (Eck) Hannan, 86 formerly of Wyomissing, died September 2, 2009 in the Highlands at Wyomissing Skilled Nursing.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William T. and Charlotte (Weigle) Eck.

She was a graduate of West Reading High School and Albright College.

Mrs. Hannan was a teacher for the Reading Head Start Program.

She is survived by her son, Charles E. Jr., husband of Jan L. Hannan, Muhlenberg Township; her daughter, Charlotte H., wife of David Ahner, Lake Worth, FL.; her sister, Mary E. Hemmerich, Wyomissing and her three grandchildren, Whitney E. Shuster, Jennifer Ahner and William Ahner.

Graveside Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Laureldale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ALS Hope Foundation, 219 N. Broad St. #7, Philadelphia, PA 19107-1519.
