Charles Joseph Waldron

Charles Joseph Waldron, 69, died November 24th at 7:22 p.m. in his residence at 1734 York Road, Spring Township.

He was the husband of Rosemary M. (Karmonick) Waldron.

Born in McAdoo, Carbon County, he was a son of the late Charles E. and Stella (Ford) Waldron.

He was a 1951 graduate of Hazleton High School and a graduate from Albright College, Reading, Pa.

Waldron was employed as a Electronics Engineer by Lucent where he was a member of Technical Staff in Research and Development for 39 years until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield where he was also an usher for a number of years.

Waldron was a National Guard Veteran of the Korean War and a Reserve of the United States Army.

He is also survived by a son, Joseph J. Waldron of Sedona, Arizona.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10am in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield. Viewing Wednesday 9am until time of mass in the church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, Maryland.
