Charles R. "Chap" Tasco, 70, of Kenhorst, died August 9, 2010 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Charles and Sandra (Patterson) Tasco.
Charles was a graduate of Girard College, Philadelphia.
He worked for Textile Machine Works, Reading, from 1959 to 1970 and for the past 40 years he has been working in construction. In recent years he has assisted his son, Kevin, at Tasco Remodeling.
Charles was much loved by his family and friends, and he reciprocated that love by always being willing to help his neighbor. He was good with his hands and enjoyed working on cuckoo clocks. He was a perfectionist and was very punctual. He loved his morning coffee.
He is survived by his son, Kevin C. Tasco, Kenhorst; his daughter, Cindy K., wife of Vince McFadden, Wernersville; and his two step-daughters: Denise, wife of Brian Crissup, Sinking Spring and Krista, wife of James Stednick, Kenhorst. Also surviving are his five grandchildren: Daniel Tasco, Adam Tasco, Ellen Tasco, Brad McFadden and Ryan McFadden; and two step grandchildren: Ella Stednick and Olivia Stednick.
