Charles F. Seidel

Charles F. Seidel, 81, of Reading, died August 13, 2009 in Spruce Manor of West Reading.

He was the husband of Carol A. (Snyder) Seidel, whom he married on October 16, 1982.

Born December 18, 1927 in Sharon, PA, he was a son of the late Paul and Emma (Forstler) Seidel.

He was a graduate of the Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute.

Charles was employed by the Carpenter Technology Corporation, Reading, in the stores and receiving department, retiring in 1992.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran

In addition to his wife he is survived by his brother, Robert, husband of Virginia Seidel, Edgewater, MD, and two sisters: Ruth, widow of Keith Weitzel, Laureldale and Alice, widow of David Kershner, Wyomissing.

Graveside Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Spies Zion's Cemetery, Alsace Township. Friends may call Sunday 2 – 3 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.
