Charles E. Reppert

Charles E. "Rep" Reppert, Jr. 75 of Port Clinton died November 25, 2014 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the husband of Althea H. (Hartman) Reppert to whom he was married to for 40 years. "Rep" was born in Port Clinton and was the son of the late Charles E. and Mildred E. (Weston) Reppert, Sr. He was a 1957 graduated of Schuylkill Haven High School and a 1959 graduate of Ford School of Business, Pottsville. Charles worked for Wright's Knitting Mill for 40 years last working as a Purchasing Agent. He was a member of Salem E. C. Church, Lenhartsville. "Rep" enjoyed hunting, fishing and adored his grandchildren. He loved his "puppies" and liked to play pinnacle every Wednesday with his card buddies. Charles was a life member of Port Clinton Fire Company, and was a member of Port Clinton Fish and Games Association and the Ponderosa Hunting Camp, Port Clinton. In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by one son, Ryan C. husband of Tammy L. (Renno) Reppert, Port Clinton and three grandchildren, Wyatt Guinther, Case and Mattie Reppert. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29th at 10:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. 40 S. 4th St. Hamburg, PA. with Pastor David Long officiating.
