Charles M. Reinsel, 84, of Tilden Township died in the Laurel Center, Tilden Township where he had resided the past year He was the husband of Edith L. (Sunday) Reinsel who died January 25, 1997. They were married August 19, 1950. Charles was born in Tilden Township and was the son of the late Clarence D. and Mollie M. (Miller) Reinsel. Charles and his wife were the owners and operators of the Reinsel Dairy Farm in Tilden Township for 37 years retiring in 1988. During his farming years, Charles was a farm produce huckster in Reading, PA. After retiring from the farm he was a cattle weigh in clerk for the Leesport Auction for several years. He was a 1943 graduate of Hamburg High School. He was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Township, as well as St. Michael's Sunday School his entire life. Charles served the church as a former church councilman and was a former member of St. Michael's Cemetery board. He was a life member of the Shartlesville Grange and a 60 year member of Vaux Lodge #406 F &AM, Hamburg, where he achieved the 32nd degree. Charles is survived by two daughters, Faye M. wife of Thomas Werley, Jr., Tilden Township, Ruth C. Reinsel, Temple and 1 grandson, Steven C. Werley. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM from St. Michaels Church, Tilden Township with a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. A viewing will also be held on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S 4th Street, Hamburg, PA. Masonic services will begin at 8:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the memorial fund of St. Michael's Church or St. Michael's Cemetery at 529 St. Michaels Road, Hamburg, PA. 19526
