Charles R. Beck

Charles R. Beck, Jr., 75, of Muhlenberg Twp., died March 24, 2017, at Penn State Health, St. Joseph.

He was the husband of Barbara A. (Vardjan) Beck.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Charles R., Sr., and Margaret (Bertolet) Beck.

He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Era.

Charles was a line technician for R.M. Palmer Co., West Reading for 44 years retiring in 2003.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Fay M. Beck, Reading. He was predeceased by a step-brother, John R. Weitzel.

Services will be held Thursday, March 30, 2017, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery, with interment to follow. Contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508. Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Temple is in charge of arrangements.
