Charles Ronald "Ron" Perry, 77, of Shillington, passed away September 21, 2014 in Tel Hai, Honey Brook.

He was the companion of Marsha (Moore) Lush, Shillington.

Born October 4, 1936 in Philadelphia he was a son of the late Charles Wesley and Jean Mae (King) Perry.

Ron was a graduate of Collingdale High School and earned his Master's degree from Bloomsburg University.

He was a business manager and a teacher. He retired as the assistant superintendent and business manager of Tulpehocken School District.

Ron was a sports enthusiast. He was a soccer referee for many years and a baseball umpire for over 50 years; umpiring for PIAA, college, legion, legion regional, and State Mid-Atlantic.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Reading.

In addition to Marsha he is survived by his two children: Patricia, wife of Mark S. Lacey, Birdsboro; and Scott D. Perry, London, England. Also surviving are his brother, King, husband of Linda L. Perry, Chester Springs; his three grandchildren: Michael B. Rowe, Chase N. Lacey, and Taylor M. Lacey; and his two nieces: Laura (Perry) Lunardi, and Christine (Perry) Gordon.

Ron was predeceased by his brother, Robert Wesley Perry.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in First Presbyterian Church, 37 S 5th St, Reading, PA 19602. A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will be private in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
