Charles Mac Neill, 76, of Blandon, entered into eternal rest on May 1, 2013, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

Charles was the husband of Anna Mac Neill. They were married on October 24, 1959, and celebrated 53 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Dickerson) Mac Neill.

Charles was a graduate of Northeast High School. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia.

Charlie moved with his family from Philadelphia to Cullman, Alabama with Nicholson File Company. He then moved back to PA and worked as Engineering Manager for Trimmaster and Premier Mill in Reading until his retirement in 2002. During his retirement he worked as a consultant for Custom Milling and Consulting.

Charlie was a quiet man known for his gentle spirit and presence that would fill a room. He touched many lives of those who met him and most of all, his family who will miss him deeply. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Anna K., wife of Jeff Trojanowski, Exeter Twp. and Melissa E. Mac Neill, Flying Hills. There are two siblings, James Mac Neill and Elizabeth Koppel. Three grandchildren, Justin, Taylor and Devon also survive him.

He was predeceased by one brother, Edward W. Mac Neill, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10 a.m. in the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Greener Pastures Samantha Frey, P.O. Box 278, Marion, PA 17235 in memory of Charles. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
