Charles R. Mclaughlin

Charles R. McLaughlin, 79, died September 29 at 4:10 a.m. in his Spring Twp. residence.

He was the husband of Janet L. (Pawling) McLaughlin.

Born in York, he was the son of the late Roy and Wilma (Tyson) McLaughlin.

He was employed by Bell Telephone for 45 years until his retirement.

Charles was an avid golfer.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps serving during Wold War II.

Other survivors include three sons, Dr. Keith, Colorado, Glenn, West Virginia, Kevin, South Carolina and one daughter Erin (McLaughlin) Bird, West Virginia. There are also one brother, James, Maryland and one sister, Jane (MCLaughlin) Messner, Texas. Nine grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren also survive him.
