Charles A. Kidron

Charles A. Kidron, Sr., 87, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was the widower of the late Joann T. Kidron. They married on December 28, 1957.

Born in Trevorton, PA, he was the son of the late Charles V. and Margaret M. (Zurick) Kidron. Charles graduated from Trevorton High School in 1955 and earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Bloomsburg University. He was employed as a Speech Pathologist at Tulpehocken School District and BCIU before retiring in 1996.

Charles was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sports and activities.

Charles is survived by his two sons, Charles A. Kidron, husband of Susan, and Richard L. Kidron, husband of Cheryl, brother, Robert Kidron, widower of Janice, four grandchildren: Anthony Kidron, Victoria Kidron, Stephen Kidron, husband of Nicole, and Ashley Kidron, fiancée of Drew Hoffmann, and two great-grandchildren, Wesley and Lleyton.

He was predeceased by his half-sister, Jeanette Braubitz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Baptist de la Salle, Shillington with burial at All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. The visitation will be held from 9:15 a.m. until the time of service.
