Charles T. Frey

Charles T. Frey, better known as "Tommy" or "Chuck," 72, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family late Friday, March 26, 2021. He was the loving husband of 30 years of Jo A. Frey, "the peanut butter to his jelly."

Born in Reading to the late William H. and Verna M. (Reinert) Frey, Tommy attended Fleetwood School District. He was a member of Maidencreek Lutheran Church.

Chuck retired at age 51 after 30 years at Car Tech. He and Jo traveled in their motor home for ten years. They followed the NASCAR circuit and enjoyed being Snowbirds in Florida. Chuck was a big Steelers fan, something for which Jo eventually forgave him.

Left to treasure Chuck's memory is his beloved wife, Jo; his sons Michael and Eric; his step daughters Kimberly Trate, wife of Scott Trate, and Suzie Schmale, wife of Donald Schmale; his grandchildren Oryan Frey, Nickolas Frey, and Nikole Frey; and his step grandchildren Niko Trate, Landin Schmale and Sophia Schmale.

Chuck was predeceased by his grandson, Nathan Frey.
