Charles C. Franco

Charles C. Franco, 90, formerly of Court Street, died Feb. 4 at 3:15 p.m. in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township, where he had resided since March 6.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Frank and Angelina (Germana) Franco.

Franco was employed as a teacher in the Reading School District and was last employed for 36 years by the state Department of Labor and Industry specializing in manpower development and training until his retirement.

He was a graduate of Penn State College with bachelor's degree in education.

Franco was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
