Charles R. Farina

Charles R. Farina, 87, of Reading, died October 23, 2007 in St. Joseph's Hospital.

His wife, Jennie B. (Jarsocrak) Farina died July 11, 2006.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Anthony and Catrina (Todaro) Farina.

He was a machinist for Textile Machine Works retiring in 1982.

Charles was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

He was an U.S. Army Air Corps veteran serving during World War II.

Charles was a lifetime member of the 1900 Club, Reading.

He is survived by his two sons, Ernest J., husband of Dale-Ann (Hendricks) Farina; and Charles R., Jr., husband of Patricia A. (Quaglio) Farina, all of Muhlenberg Township.

There is also one sister, Josephine J. Farina, Wyomissing. Five grandchildren, Lisa wife of Jonathan E. Goehler, Robert C. Farina, Brian R. Farina, Kyle A. Farina and Tyler, J. Farina; and one great-granddaughter, Caitlin Goehler also survive him. He was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters,including his 2 triplet brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary R.C.C. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 to 9 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com
