Charles David Delp

Charles David Delp, 66, of Laureldale, passed away May 4, 2013 in ManorCare, Laureldale.

He was the loving husband to Linda L. (Reed) Delp, whom he married October 30, 1965.

Born in Temple, he was a son of the late Clarence and Violet (Kacher) Delp.

He was a member of Kissinger's Church, Wyomissing.

Charles worked for OB Dyers, for 32 years and in the gardening department in Walmart for 10 years.

He loved nascar and playing card games with his family. He was a hard worker and good father with a great sense of humor.

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by two daughters: Charletta J., wife of Stanley Archer, Morgantown, and Jeannette L. Delp, Laureldale.

He is also survived by his sister, Mary M., wife of Robert Koller Jr., Temple, and three grandchildren: Christopher, Stephanie, and Brittany.

Charles was predeceased by two brothers: Clarence Delp and Edward Delp.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
