Charles S. Carlson

Charles S. Carlson, 81, of Reading, passed away August 24, 2013 in Keystone Villa at Fleetwood.

His wife, June P. (Welty) Carlson, died in 1998.

Born in Teaneck, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles and Lydia M. (Gilde) Carlson.

He was a graduate of Teaneck High School and Lehigh University.

Charles was a systems analyst for CNA, Reading and various other insurance companies.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Charles is survived by his sister, Eleanor Doren, Tucson, AZ and his brother-in-law, David Welty, West Reading. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

A viewing will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
