Charles Cardinal

Charles "Juney" Cardinal, Jr., of Las Vegas, NV, died June 24, 2010 at Mountainview Hospital.

He was the husband of Vivian Cardinal who died April 8, 2010.

Born November 1, 1930 in Berks County, he was a son of the late Charles, Sr. and Antoinette Mary (Lavigna) Cardinal.

Charles was a 1950 graduate of West Reading High School.

He was employed as a union electrician with IEBW 413, having recently being acknowledged as a 50 year member.

Charles served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Surviving are two children: Bret Cardinal of Robeson Twp. and Carmen (Cardinal) Rothe of Auburn, CA.

Other survivors include a brother, Carmen "Buddy" Cardinal of Robeson Twp. and a sister, Rita Cardinal of Mt. Penn.

Charles was predeceased by a brother Richard "Rick" Cardinal.

A Memorial Service will be July 24, 2010 at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A visitation will be held from 12:30-1:00 p.m. Burial will be private in Gethsemane Cemetery.
