Charles R. Campbell

Charles R. Campbell, 76, of Mohnton, died January 29, 2014, in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Sandra K. (Stoudt) Campbell.

Born in Huntingdon, PA he was a son of the late Lushin and Stella (Andrews) Campbell.

He was the owner/operator of Berks Roofing Company for 30 years until his retirement.

Charlie had a passion for hunting which took him to 5 continents. He was proud of belonging to Safari Club International for 30 years. He only had missed 1 convention in Nevada during those years. He was always busy working with his hands on his latest project or using the tractor on his land. Just prior to his death he even obtained a patent on a hunting apparatus with hopes of marketing this product.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Charles R. Jr., husband of Candace Campbell, Reading, Randall S. Jr., husband of Kimberly Reeser, Mohnton and Eric S. Reeser, Reading; two sisters, Martha Miller, Wyomissing and Patricia, wife of Roger Pawling, Mohrsville; five grandchildren, Brock Campbell, Chad Campbell, Kyle Campbell, Hunter Reeser, Kolbie Reeser and one great-grandchild, Adalyn Campbell.

Charles was predeceased by one son, David R. Campbell in December 2011; two brothers, Lushin Campbell, Jr. and James Campbell and one sister, Anna Naus.

Memorial Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be private.
