Charles B. Adasczik, 56, Bernville, passed away on December 20th at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born in Rahway, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles B. Adasczik and Eleanor (Turek) Adasczik, Cape Coral, Fl.
He was the husband of Maria D. (Susnosky) Adasczik.
Charles was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute, Troy, NY in 1972. He received his BS in Materials Engineering in1972, and in 1976 received his Masters Degree for Materials Engineering from Rensselaer.
He worked for Carpenter Technology as a manager for Forge Bar and Billet, Premium Melting for the past eight years.
Charles was a former president for Specialty Metals Processing Cortsium. He was a member of Georgetown University Parents Council from 2001 to 2004.
He is survived by one son, Charles B. Adasczik III, at home, and one daughter Amiee M. Adasczik, graduate student at Yale University, New Haven, Conn.
Charles is also survived by three sisters, Rosemary (Adasczik) wife of Jack Purcell, Scranton, Christine (Adasczik) McGowan, Moscow, Pa, and Suzanne (Adasczik) wife of Bruce Gavarny, Center Harbor, NH, and seven nieces and nephews and one great niece.
There will be a Funeral Service on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 1110 Snyder Road, West Lawn, Pa 19609. Burial will be in Our Lady Queen of Peace, Scranton.
