Chad Christian Leddy

Chad Christian Leddy, 34, of Brecknock Twp., died February 12, 2007 in the Reading Hospital, where he had been since February 2, 2007.

Born in Reading on May 9, 1972, he was a son of Dr. Cyril V., Jr. and Carol J. (Heckman) Leddy.

He was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School in 1990 and was attending Reading Area Community College. Chad was interested in pursuing a career in Radiology.

Chad was a member of the Blue Mountain Jeep Alliance and enjoyed off roading with his jeep.

His interests included attending the Eastern Shore, PA and Jeff Daniels Jeep Shows. He also enjoyed researching World War II History, boating, The Who Concerts and OCMD.

He received a brand new kidney from his angel, Brooke two years ago.

In addition to his parents he is also survived by one brother, Christopher J. and one sister, Caroline V. Leddy both at home and his loving girlfriend Shelly Mock, Wernersville.

Other survivors include his maternal grandfather, Roth Heckman, Middletown and his paternal grandfather, Dr. Cyril V. Leddy, Sr., Wyomissing. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles and many cousins.

Chad was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Rosemarie Imwalle and his paternal grandmother, Edyth Leddy.

Chad was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd. Laureldale. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
