Celida Lugo

Celida Lugo, 71, spouse of the late Adolfo Lugo former Reading, PA resident went home with God on Friday, December 29, 2017.

Celida, daughter of Ana Rosa Aguilar and Francisco Machado, was born on August 19, 1946 in Hatillo, Puerto Rico.

She also went by Nelly to those closest to her. She was a homemaker who owned her home at 359 West Windsor St. Reading, PA. Her hobbies included cooking, listening to music, playing Nintendo, and spending much of her time with her family. She will forever be remembered for leaving this world a little better just because she was here.

She is survived by five children: Sylvia Lugo, Michael Lugo, Daniel Lugo, Nancy Lugo, and Samuel Lugo, eleven grandchildren: Bernice Colon, Ruben Lugo, Victoria Lugo, Travis Navarro, Juan Benitez, Justine Benitez, Matthew Benitez, Izaiah Colon, Shanice Cromer, Danny Lugo, and Joel Lugo, and seven great grandchildren: Ruben Lugo Jr, Alianie Lugo, Angel Hurtado, Kaori Hurtado, Novalee Lugo, Nova Kelly and Naveen LeBron. A viewing will be held at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. located at 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611 on Monday January 8, 2017 between the hours of 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Charles Evan Cemetery.
