Celia T. Kilar 98, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at the Berks Heim where she resided. She was the devoted wife of Walter R. Kilar until his passing in 2000.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Antionette (Jankowski) Glembocki. Celia was employed for many years at the Berkshire Knitting Mills and Narrow Fabric. She will be remembered as a kind and loving person to all of her family.

Those cherishing her memories are her daughter, Joyce Appnel, wife of Michael; grandsons Timothy, Scott, and Kevin husband to Melissa: also 7 Great Grandchildren Kyla, Teagan, Collin, Alex, Evie, Avery, and Alexis. She is also survived by sister -in -law, Jean Murray. She joins in heaven her 5 sisters and 2 brothers.

A prayer service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025  at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery 3139 Kutztown Rd. Reading, PA 19605 with burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Celia's honor to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Reading, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
