Cecelia A. Hannahoe

Cecelia A. Hannahoe, 82, of Bernville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 26, 2024, after a beautiful day spent with her family. She was the widow of Eugene L. Hannahoe.

Born in Reading to the late Joseph Liszcz and June (Limpus) Sweitzer, Cecelia previously attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Perkiomen Avenue. She was a feisty lady who enjoyed hosting parties and cookouts. She loved arts and crafts and kept a collection of crystals. She adored her beloved cat, Maggie.

Cecelia endured many challenging times in her life, including the loss of her three children, Eugene J., William, and Geraldine Hannahoe.

Left to treasure Cecelia's memory are her grandchildren, Jennifer Althouse, wife of John, of Reading, and Shane M. Fritz, husband of Melinda, of Shillington, as well as great grandchildren, Del and Kennedy Althouse and Willow, Brooke, and Noah Fritz. Cecelia is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Debra Dotterer, and her sister, Rebecca Moyer, wife of Thomas.

Services for Cecelia will be held on Monday, January 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611, with committal to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
