Cecelia Barbara Bereski, 92, formerly of Mount Carmel, PA, passed away February 14, at the Mifflin Center Nursing Facility in Shillington, PA. Born in Mount Carmel, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Zalewski) Andrzejewski and the wife of Edward A. Bereski who resides in Shillington. She was married November 30, 1946, at Mother of Consolation Church in Mount Carmel. She raised her three children there and moved to Reading, PA in May, 1986, where she resided with her husband, her son, and his family for 26 years. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Plowville.
Cecelia was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She took great pride in her family and her love for them. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Busha". She was loved so much and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Her faith was a large part of her life and she lived accordingly.
She is survived by her husband Edward, her sister Dorothy Costa of Mount Carmel, her three children Edward J. Bereski and his wife Rochelle of Wyomissing, Susan Wargo of Doylestown, and Marilyn Bereski of Reading. Also, her six grandchildren, Leighann Blatt and husband Ryan, Kristin Wargo, Tiana Bereski, Angela Bereski, Kalani Bereski, Gillian Wargo, and great-granddaughter Gracie Blatt as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters, Frances Ferrari, Elgie Homiak, Jean Shulski, Anna Ordak, and five brothers, Anthony, Samuel, Joseph, Edward, and Albert Andrejeski.
