Cathy Lynn Spatz

Cathy Lynn Spatz, 67, passed away Saturday November 4, 2023, in the Reading Hospital.

Joe H. Steffy, who has been Cathy's devoted companion for nearly three decades, will deeply miss his beloved Cathy.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late James and Antoinette (Fierro) Spatz.

Cathy dedicated many years of her life to working hard as a waitress in different restaurants.

Cathy, a devoted lover of her Toy Fox Terrier fur babies, found joy in shopping, indulging in her favorite TV show Life Below Deck, and immersing herself in the nostalgic tunes of Mo Town Music while reminiscing about attending a Diana Ross concert with her sister.

In addition to Joe, Cathy is survived by four siblings: Jack, husband of Cara Spatz, Schuylkill Haven, Michael, husband of Joy Spatz, Mary Gilfert, and Virginia Spatz, all of Reading; seven nieces and nephews: Shelly, Angela, Emily, Michael, Antonio, Jackson, and Benjamin. Two great-nieces and nephews; two great-great nieces and two fur babies, Bella and Sasha, also survive her.

She was predeceased by two brothers, James "Jimmy" Spatz and Dave W. Spatz.
