Catherine Premici

Catherine Premici, 86, Shillington, died April 27 in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient one week.

Her husband, Enrico T. Premici Sr., died Aug. 17, 2002.

Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Anthony S. and Agatha (Bisazza) Lombardo.

Premici was employed for many years as a shipper by Berkshire Knitting Mills, Wyomissing, and Narrow Fabric Co., West Reading, retiring in 1956. After her retirement, she was employed part time from 1982 to 1985 as a cafeteria worker in the Gov. Mifflin High School, Shillington.

She was a member of St. John Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

Surviving are a son, Enrico T. Jr., Shillington; and a daughter, Mary A. (Premici) Dotterer, Kenhorst.

Other survivors include three sisters: Natalie (Lombardo) O'Neill, Wyomissing; Joanne (Lombardo) Goerner, Reading; and Mary (Lombardo) Vetovich, Sinking Spring.

There are also three grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. John Baptist de La Salle Church. Friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30 at the Kuhn Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to St. John Baptist de La Salle Church 420 Holland Street Shillington, PA 19607. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
