Catherine M. Nicodemus

Catherine M. Nicodemus, 86, of Carolina Avenue, Muhlenberg Township, formerly of Overbrook Road, Baltimore, died May 30 at 5:10 p.m. in the residence of a son, David E. Jr., with whom she resided.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Michael Klocek, and by her second husband, David E. Nicodemus Sr., in 1980.

Born in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Barbara (Mertel) Scheller.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

In addition to her son, she is also survived by a brother, James Scheller, Silver Spring, Md.

Other survivors include five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Margaret (Klocek) Gossman.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary of Assumption Church, Baltimore. Burial will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Cockeysville, Md. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
