Catherine T. Meck

Catherine T. (Greenle) Meck, 88, of Shillington, passed away June 11, 2008 at the Mifflin Center.

She was the widow of Kenneth Meck.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William David and Mary Jane Elizabeth (McHugh) Greenle.

She attended Halahan High School, Philadelphia.

Catherine was employed as an IBM processor for Dana Corporation for 30 years.

She was a member of St. Ambrose Church, Schuylkill Haven.

Catherine is survived by her step-daughter, Sylvia, wife of Clark Cable; a granddaughter, Lisa J. Whitford; two grandsons, Chuck Campbell; Dave Campbell; three step grandchildren, Robert Cable; Kimberly Cable-Lewis, and Sherry L. Cable. There are also five great-grandchildren; Brock, Chad and Kyle Campbell; Brittney and Devin Whitford.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Roseanne C. Linette who died March 3, 2008.

Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Friends may call one hour before the service. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
