Catherine M. Hofmann

Catherine M. Hofmann, 91, died August 14, 2009 in the Lutheran Home at Topton.

Her husband, Raymond F. Hofmann died January 20, 2006.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Livio and Mary (Rizzo) Sonsini.

She was a graduate of St. Peter's Catholic High School in 1936.

Catherine is survived by two sons, Raymond F. Hofmann, Jr., Myerstown and William D. Hofmann, Waynesboro; and three daughters, Mary Jo (Hofmann) Berthinet, Mohnton, Margaret M. (Hofmann) Kimmel, Ocean City, MD and Christina Hofmann, Reading. Ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive her.

She was predeceased by six siblings, Irene Sonsini, Agnes Sonsini, Armando Sonsini, Livio Sonsini, Jr., Duraine Browne and Mary Sonsini.

Services and entombment in Gethsemane Mausoleum will be private.
