Catherine Hartline

Catherine (Fretz) Hartline, 97, of Earl Township, died October 29, 2012 in the Berkshire Center, Exeter Township.

She was the wife of Joseph Charles Hartline, who died January 31, 1973.

Born in New Hanover Township, Montgomery County on September 25, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Harrison A. and Catherine G. (Fisher) Fretz.

She was employed ten years in the interior department at Boyertown Casket Company, before retiring June 18, 1982.

Catherine is survived by a daughter, Marian L. (Hartline) Zaffary of Earl Township.

Other survivors include a sister, Mary Alice, widow of Irvin Willman of Mertztown and two grandsons: Steven N., husband of Cynthia Zaffary of Mount Penn and Michael J., husband of Noelle Zaffary of Boyertown.

She was predeceased by eleven siblings.

Services will be held Friday at 1:00 pm in Blankenbiller Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley. A viewing will be held Friday from 12 noon until time of services. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Oley.
