Catherine "Cathy" T. Campisano, 60, formerly of 1604 Sherwood Road, Colony Park, died Friday June 7th at 5:30 a.m. after a prolonged battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was the wife of Thomas P. Campisano of 1957 Gring Drive, Drexelwood, who where married October 6, 1962.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Kowalec) Umbra Sr.
Campisano was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.
She was a 1959 graduate of Marymont High School, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Surviving is a son, Kurt M., New York City, and two daughters, Jill A. (Campisano) wife of Martin Krynock, Flying Hills, and Karla L. (Campisano) wife of Dale Seibert, Wyomissing.
She is also survived by a brother, Joseph Umbra Jr., Wilkes-Barre and an Aunt, Helen Kowalec of Wilkes-Barre.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday June 10th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ignatius R.C. Church, Whitfield. A Viewing will be held Sunday June 9th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Contributions may be made in Cathy's name to the church at 2810 St. Alban's Drive, Sinking Spring, Pa 19608 for continued spiritual benefits of The Eucharistic Minister Services.
