Catherine A. Beahr

Catherine A. (Stasulli) Beahr, 64 of Windsor Township died March 3, 2017 in the Reading Hospital surrounded by her family. Catherine was the widow of Dennis W. Beahr who died October 21, 2003. She was born in Shenandoah, PA and was the daughter of John A. and Rosemary (Dietler) Stasulli of Hamburg. Catherine was a 1970 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and was of the Catholic Faith. She worked 15 years as a medical assistant at Berks Center for Digestive Health , Wyomissing, where her coworkers were her friends and an extended family. Catherine was a former member of the Hamburg Lion's Club, and she enjoyed going to yard sales, auctions, and gardening. She was also a cat lover. In addition to her parents, Catherine is survived by a brother Michael A. husband of Karen Stasulli, Hamburg; a sister Rosalie M. wife of Greg Szilli, Hamburg; a niece Amber C. Szilli, Hamburg; and nephews John E. husband of Elizabeth Stasulli, Killeen, TX, Nikolas M. Stasulli husband of Louise Giffin, Chapel Hill, NC, Jarrod P. husband of Lauren Szilli Schuylkill Haven, Timothy J. Stasulli Cherry Hill, NJ, and Jason P. husband of Marina Szilli, Fleetwood. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews, and several cousins. A sister, Patricia (Stasulli) Nagle, predeceased her on February 16, 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. from St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 94 Walnut Road, Hamburg. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg and Friday morning at the church from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Memorial Fund at the above address.
