Catherine A. Maslar

Catherine A. Maslar, 91, formerly of Sinking Spring, died June 19, 2009 in Berks Heim.

She was the widow of Andrew J. Maslar.

Born in Sinking Spring, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Hannah (White) O'Neill.

She was a business agent for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, retiring in 1978.

Catherine is survived by two brothers, Benjamin O'Neill, Shillington and Bernard O'Neill, Reading; and one sister, Loretta (O'Neill) Arnold, Grill. Two grandchildren, Nicholas Bard and Christopher Rabzak also survive her.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Joan E. Maslar and Christine C. Bard.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
