Catharine D. Griesemer

Catharine D. Griesemer, 91, of Country Meadows, Wyomissing, formerly of Girard Street, Hyde Park, died Feb. 14 at 5:25 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, where she had been a patient since Feb. 10.

Her husband, Ralph Y. Griesemer, died Dec. 20, 1999.

Born in Newmanstown, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Laura (Zerbe) Filbert.

Griesemer was employed for many years locally in the hosiery industry until her retirement.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Reading.

Griesemer was a graduate of Reading High School.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyne K. (Kline) Gassert, Wyomissing, and one granddaughter.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
