Carrie V. Brown

Carrie V. Brown, 92 formerly of Wyndcliffe Apartments, Hamburg died February 25, 2017 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Township. Carrie was the widow of John W. Brown who died October 6, 1993. She was born in Philipsburg, PA. (Clearfield County) and was the daughter of the late Harry and Lillian (Summers) Graham. She worked for many years on the candy line for Luden's Candy. She was a former member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Hamburg. Carrie is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline A. Shueman, Reading, Pamela S. Petersheim, Fleetwood, one stepdaughter, Charlene L. Bishop, son Ronald J. Bordner, Perry Township, a step-son Thomas W. Brown, Akron, PA. one sister, Nora Lee and 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several great -great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4 th Street, Hamburg. A viewing will be held Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
