Carolyn Mae Hafer

Carolyn M. Hafer, 75, Port Clinton, passed away on Tuesday, August 30th, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was the loving wife of George Hafer and would have celebrated 54 years of marriage this October.

Born in Shartlesville, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Ruth Klee.

Carolyn retired from the Port Clinton post office where she served as postmaster for 31 years.

Carolyn loved her family. She did everything she could for them. Carolyn also enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling, and going to the casino's.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Adam, husband of Mary Hafer, Orwigsburg and Jason, husband of Lisa Hafer, Bernville; four grandsons, Wolfgang, Mathew, Aron and Alexander; and her great grandson, Jax Hafer due to be born in September. She is also survived by a sister, Joan Werley wife of Russ Werley and her brother, Ted Klee husband of Nina Klee.

Carolyn was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Klee.

Services for Carolyn will be held privately. Services are entrusted to Burkey and Driscoll Funeral home, Inc., Hamburg.
