Carolyn Formicone

Carolyn Formicone, 82, of Kline Street, West Reading, died Sept. 17 at 9 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient since Sept. 2.

Her husband, Joseph Formicone, died Jan. 24, 1987.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Enrico and Antonia (Quaglia) Fabriziani.

Formicone was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She was a life member of the auxiliary of the Victor Emmanuel II Society, Reading.

Formicone was an inspector for the board of elections in West Reading for 30 years until 1993.

Surviving are a son, Michael, West Wyomissing; and three daughters: Dolores (Formicone) Hyneman, and Dianne (Formicone) Pease, both of Kenhorst,,and Sandra (Formicone) Rossi, Sinking Spring.

Other survivors include a sister, Anna (Fabriziani) Pietrobone, West Reading; and three brothers: Joseph Fabriziani, Reading; Peter Fabriziani, Spring City, Chester County; and Genario Fabriziani, West Reading.

There are also six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
