Carolyn W. Erdman

Carolyn W. Erdman, 90, of Wyomissing, passed away on August 1st at the Highlands at Wyomissing.

Born in Waterbury, CT, she was the daughter of the late Lee C. and Emma (Manville) Wilson.

Her husband, Carl L. N. Erdman, passed away on April 23, 1999.

She is a graduate of the Wyomissing High School, and Albright College in 1938. She received her associate degree from Bradford Junior College, Bradford, Mass.

Carolyn was a member of St. Thomas U.C.C., Reading.

She served on the Board of Trustees for Albright College, and on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross of Reading. She was the Past President of the Junior League of Reading.

Carolyn is survived by one son, Lee W. husband of Diane Erdman, Lake Ariel, Pa, and one daughter, Christine E. wife of Robert Keeler, Cumru Township, and one brother, John C. husband of Connie Wilson, Springfield, Va.

She is also survived by four grandchildren, Christopher B. Erdman, Brookline, Mass, Melissa (Erdman) Holson, Seattle, Wash., Kelley Lee Keeler, Alexandria, Va, and Timothy F.W. Keeler of Wyomissing.

There are also five great grandchildren, Violet and Ivy Holson; Orla, Owen and Connor Erdman.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas U.C.C., 851 N. 11th Street, Reading, Pa 19604. Burial will be private at Charles Evans Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Thomas U.C.C. at the above address or Albright College, 13th and Bern Sts., P.O. Box 15234, Reading, Pa 19612. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of the arrangements.
