Carolyn E. Fogel

Carolyn Elizabeth (Reichard) Fogel, 86, formerly of Alton Park, died November 28, 2008 at 9:55 pm in the Phoebe Berks Nursing Center, Wernersville.

She was married December 25, 1945 to the late Harold LeRoy Fogel, who died in June, 1987.

Born in Northampton, Pa on January 11, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Estella (Trankley) Reichard.

She was a 1939 graduate of Northampton High School.

Carolyn was employed a number of years as an assembler with General Electric, Allentown, before retiring in January, 1982.

She is survived by three children: Dianne E. Arndt of Allentown, Dale R., husband of Karol A. (Kondratuk) Fogel of Anchorage, Alaska and Kim L. (Fogel), wife of Rev. Barry R. Galley of Spring Township.

Other survivors include five grandchildren: Damian Arndt, Billie (Fogel) Busque, Alayne Galley, Katelyn Galley and Elizabeth Fogel.

Carolyn was predeceased by three brothers: Russell, George and Charles.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm in Phoebe Berks Chapel, 1 Reading Drive, Wernersville, PA 19565. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Allentown.
