Caroline A. Williams

Caroline A. Williams, 95, of Shillington, died January 8, 2011 in the Mifflin Center.

She was the widow of John E. Williams.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Jerome and Grace (Howards) Rowe.

Caroline was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family.

She was a devout Christian and attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Whitfield.

Caroline is survived by five children: Carol Ann, wife of Richard B. Shaffer, Wernersville; Ellis J., husband of Patricia A. Williams, Muhlenberg Park; Ronald D., widower of Margaret A. Williams, Muhlenberg Township; Janet M. Siegel, Shillington and Donald E., husband of Diane Williams, Strausstown. Also surviving are two daughters-in-law, Dorothy Williams, Mt Penn and Linda Williams, Temple. She was blessed with 35 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three sons: John L. Williams, Ralph L. Williams and Kenneth H. Williams and two siblings: Helen Hohl, Harry J. Rowe and her identical twin sister, Dorothy Rowe.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
